The reason is oftenrelated to "muscle weakness".

Walk in shoes

With the rapid change in our living environment and habits in the modern world, the way we use our legs have also diverged from their original purpose.

  • A life of wearing shoes
  • A life of walking on hard surfaces such as asphalt and flooring
  • We don't walk as much, now that we regularly drive to get around

Because of this,

our toes hardly move, making it harder for these muscles to work, resulting in muscle weakness.

The foot arch is flattened, leading to a loss of balance.

"The 3 arches" that support the body, and their functions

The normal foot has three arches, connecting three points, namely the joints of the big toe, the little toe, and the heels, creating a dynamic shape. These arches function as a spring that absorbs the shock when we walk and disperses the body's load at the same time.

  • ①Anterior Transverse Arch
  • ②Medial Longitudinal Arch
  • ③Lateral Longitudinal Arch

POINT

Foot arches are supported by muscles

Foot arches are supported by muscles, and when this balance is disrupted, it leads not only to foot-related issues but also various problems in the body.

POINT

Your foot arch can be changed by the way you walk!

By walking properly with good posture, the muscles on your foot soles will be used in the correct way, helping to shape a well-balanced foot arch.
A healthy foot will have a dynamically shaped arch that allows you to walk properly.

Color Walker

Design & Know-hows of orthopedic footwear × Kobe's shoe manufacturing technology

It is a new type of functional insole that was developed using our knowledge in both legs and shoes to create a carefully calculated shape from a special durable material that is designed to elevate the health of the Japanese people from the ground up.

By inserting it in your shoes, it will help you improve your posture and assist you in walking properly.

It naturally revives the muscles that we rarely use in the modern world and rebalances the soles of our feet.

By rebalancing the soles of our feet, it will help relieve foot fatigue as well as reduce the burden on our knees, lower back, and joints.

Color Walker Demonstration and Proof

We gathered citizen volunteers through the Kobe Medical Industry City Promotion Association, "Healthcare Development Supporter", to try out the "Color Walker" and analyzed their gait using wearable sensors (attached to the sacrum and spine areas.)

As a result, we found that it reduces the irregularities in all four directions (the shaking in the lower back of the body) when walking.

It adjusts the balance when walking, and as very little shock is applied, it was concluded that it is a functional insole that helps reduce the burden on our lower back and knees as well as prevents tripping!

Presented at the Japanese Academy of Sciences in Walking.

Customer Testimonials

Here are some reviews we received from our customers

  • Woman in her 50s: I have bunion, but I can now go for long walks!

At a sales event in a department store, they addressed my concerns and I tried it on before buying it. Up until then, I have tried many things such as using expensive cushioned shoes and order-made insoles, but I still felt pain in my bunion and the front part of my foot sole and couldn't go for long walks, but after using "Color Walker", walking is so much more comfortable now. My shoes don't feel tight any more and I could wear shoes that felt too tight in the past after inserting Color Walker in them. Apparently, people with bunion don't use their toes properly, but with "Color Walker" in my shoes, I can feel that it helps me use my toes properly. They told me that it will not heal my bunion deformation, but the gap between my toes have slowly widened and they no longer touch each other. I am so glad I found this amazing product.

  • Man in his 40s: The pain in the sole of my feet is gone. It's great for golfing too!

I suffered pain in the sole of my feet and was diagnosed with heel spur syndrome by my orthopedic doctor. My doctor recommended trying out these insoles, so I bought them on the internet. Initially, I thought it looked hard and painful, but after trying it out, it felt like a comfortable cushion on the sole of my feet which was helping it stretch, and it felt bizzarre. It appears that stretching the plantar fascia ligament is good for treating heel spur syndrome, and it gradually eliminated the pain that I was experiencing. I gave it as a gift to my father who is in his 70s and loves playing golf, and he thanked me, saying it helped balance his center of mass when swinging the golf club and that he didn't feel as much fatigue in his legs and knees after a session of golf when using it.

  • Woman in her 70s: My hips and knees feel so much better!

Due to hip pain and knee pain, I had trouble going up and down stairs, walking on the slopes to buy groceries, especially when descending, and even went for rehabilitation. Both my legs face outwards, and I was never able to restore the shape even when I tried really hard, so my physiotherapist recommended me to use "Color Walker" which she used herself, and I ordered it by phone and started using it immediately. My legs now face inwards, the burden on my knees is much lighter, and my hips no longer hurt. I use it in my daily life too, but it has helped me to walk much more smoothly in rehabilitation, and as it also helps to build muscles, I will continue to do my best. I have many friends who suffer from pain in their knees, so I would like to recommend it to them too.

  • Woman in her 40s: The sole of my foot looks so much prettier, and I no longer trip!

I have corns on the sole of my feet and it hurts when I walk on the floors of the pool where I have my swimming lessons. They addressed my issue during a demonstration at a department store and told me that "Foot corns will not go away unless you change the way you walk", so I tried using "Color Walker". At first, it stretched my calf and it felt heavy, but it became much more comfortable when I got used to it, and it got rid of 10 years worth of corns in just 1 month. The hardened layers on the sole of my foot also became smooth. Additionally, I used to trip a lot, but I no longer trip after using Color Walker. I can feel that the way I walk has changed.

  • Woman in her 20s: My legs are less susceptible to swelling, and my body feels lighter!

I work at a restaurant and have to stand up all day, so I have flat feet and leg fatigue, and my legs would be so swollen by evening time, but after using "Color Walker", my legs don't get swollen as much and I don't feel so exhausted anymore. Probably due to my flat feet, when I just started using it, I felt pain in the sole of my feet after 2 hours of using it, so I thought it wasn't right for me and discussed it with the customer service and they advised me that, "some people get used to it immediately, but it depends on the individual and for people with flat feet or a flattened arch, it usually takes more time to get used to it, so try using it for a shorter time in the beginning and gradually increase the time as you go."
The manual also mentioned the same thing. It took me 1 month to get used to it, but I use it for the whole day during work nowadays. I have noticed the arch on the sole of my foot gradually transforming, and while I can't use them with high-heeled footwear which I wear occasionally, wearing them is much less tiring now than before.。

  • Man in his 30s: My lower back feels much better!

Probably due to my desk job in which I face the computer the whole day and slouch the whole time, my stiff shoulders and back pain have worsened over time, and I feel pain when standing during my commute in the train. My wife who stands when working had been using "Color Walker" for a while and ordered it on the internet for me, saying "My lower back pain is gone thanks to this, so you should try it too." Once I inserted it into my shoes and stood up, the burden I felt on my lower back up until then felt much lighter. I am mostly seated when I work, but it has made my commute much easier to bear. When standing in the train, it naturally makes me use my toes and I can feel that my center of mass is well-balanced. I was amazed that insoles can make such a big difference and learned the lesson again about the importance of posture. My wife said, "If you walk more with Color Walker, it will loosen your stiff shoulders", so I will try to do some walking with it on my days off.

  • Male in his 60s: My lower back feels much better! It's comfortable even in safety boots!

I work in the logistics industry and I was troubled by lower back pain. Coincindentally during my visit to Tokyu Hands, they were doing a demonstration and promotion, and a salesperson explained it to me in detail. I tried it on there and immediately felt my back straighten and my posture improving. I wasn't wearing a belt on my waist and yet I felt my waist being supported and the pain in my lower back was relieved. After removing the insoles, it was clear how much of a difference it made. I insert it in the safety boots that I use for work, and the safety boots which used to feel hard and cumbersome now feels much more comfortable, and there is also a clear difference in the burden in my lower back when carrying delivery goods. I thought I was supposed to fix my lower back to relieve lower back pain, but now I know that it starts from our feet. I also recommend it to my colleagues.
